Arrived there amidst a thunderstorm so waited for it to pass and then me and jeff rigged 4.7 sails. Jeff got going first and was managaing fine with his screamer. He then came in after a couple of runs for his F2 wave board. I got going and was at times underpowered and then sometimes perfectly powered up.
It was a southerly so are runs were very short as were crossing the river - probably 250m and then gybe back. The wind was very up and down and at times I was hanging on for my life. On one run, I was screaming along and was jumping some nice little waves that were forming. I then did an unintentional forward loop and wiped out much to the amusement of jeff who was nearby. I jumped a few feet into the air and didn;t lean back enough. The front dugin which rotated me round with the top of the mast slamming on to the water. A good wipeout and was pretty confused to what had just happened.
Sailed after sunset to about 6:20pm when it was almost pitch black. Was good to get out again after a week and a hlaf of the water.
